Dublin Watermains Rehabilitation Project

Information regarding the Dublin Region Watermains Rehabilitation Project

Posted January 23rd, 2012

A programme of works for the Dublin Region Watermains Rehabilitation Project for the Grand Canal Street, Drumcondra Road, Green Street and Church Street areas will be commencing from January onwards.

All customers affected by water shut offs are notified by a hand delivered card that details the dates and times the water is due to be shut off 48 hours in advance.  Where possible and where the water network allows, water dependant commercial customers are put on a temporary water supply which reduces the length of the water shut off to approximately 1 to 2 hours.

The Watermains Rehabilitation Project operates a lo-call information line, 1890 88 24 10 (Monday – Friday 9am-5pm) and there is also a 24 hour line, 01 685 67 61.  In addition, regular updates on where and when work is taking place are available on the website, www.watermainsrehab.com.
