Ireland votes in favour of Stability Treaty

A message to supporters in Dublin South East:
Thank you for all of your help throughout the Stability Treaty Referendum campaign.
It was no small feat to get this Treaty passed. For those who spent their spare time tirelessly canvassing, dropping flyers, postering and rallying support, the successful outcome would not have been possible without your commitment. It is very much appreciated.
Our Organiser, Michael Binchy, ran a solid campaign in the constituency in conjunction with your Fine Gael representatives. Leaflet dropping and canvassing made a big difference as it allowed us to really engage with people on the doors, and put our case directly to the people. We can be proud of the effort that we put in.
Our Minister of State for European Affairs, Lucinda, was to the fore nationally and played an important role in securing a Yes vote. We both worked hard on the ground with your Councillors, Paddy McCartan, Edie Wynne and Kieran Binchy, as well as with Senator Catherine Noone.
It was a long campaign and every corner of Dublin South East was covered. If I didn’t get a chance to work with you personally on the trail, I do hope you enjoyed taking part and my thanks again for your continued dedication.
All the very best,
