Construction will commence next month to link the existing Green and Red Luas Lines. When completed the Luas Cross City will then run from St. Stephen’s Green through the city centre to connect with the railway line in Cabra, providing greater access to Dublin city centre.

To ensure minimum disruption to commuters, a Traffic Forum has been established comprising of representatives of the Railway Procurement Agency, The National Transport Authority, An Garda Siochana, Dublin City Council, and Dublin Bus.
