Construction on the new Luas Cross City line has commenced
Posted June 25th, 2013Luas Cross City will link the existing two Luas lines together and connect with the railway line in Cabra, providing greater access to Dublin city centre. The new line will have 13 stops along its route including the new Dublin Institute of Technology campus at Grangegorman. The journey time from Broombridge Station in Cabra to St. Stephen’s Green will be approximately 24 minutes. The cost of the project is €368million, creating over 800 jobs and is set to be operational by the end of 2017.
