Posted February 20th, 2014

Dublin City Council have published a new timetable for their ‘Walk and Talk’ programme, which offers free weekly walks and tours across the city. Tours are led by historian Pat Liddy and each focusses on a specific area of Dublin – you can learn about the Dodder’s role in the history of the area on a walk from Terenure to Templeogue Road or stroll along the Liffey’s quays and bridges on a tour that focuses on the literature and music of the city.

The weekly walks are led by community volunteers and include walks along the Dodder, the Grand Canal and Sandymount Strand. Each walk takes about 90 minutes.

All tours and walks are free and there is no advance booking necessary. For more information and to view the full timetable, click here.
