The Commission for Energy Regulation has published a paper on its Water Consultation Plan – this summarises the expected timelines for water-related public consultations prior to the introduction of water charges in October 2014.

Consultations cover, inter alia, Irish Water’s plan for water charges; customer protection in the new water service sector; the principles to be applied to non-domestic tariffs; and the calculation of connection charges.
