A wide variety of entertainment will accompany the Christmas tree lightings this year – from choirs to Santa’s sleigh to ukulele bands – entertainment varies from venue to venue. The festivities kick off today in Donnybrook. I hope to see you there.

• Donnybrook Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – Friday, 28th November from 5-6pm at car park opposite Kielys Pub

 

• Harold’s Cross Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – Saturday, 29th November at 5pm in Harold’s Cross Park.

 

• Rathmines Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – Tuesday, 2nd December from 7-8pm at Rathmines Square in front of Swan Leisure.

 

• Rathgar Christmas Event – Thursday, 4th December from 7-8pm in Rathgar Village (on the street). Event organised by Rathgar Traders.

 

• Sandymount Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – Friday, 5th December from 5-6pm at Sandymount Green.

 

• Ranelagh Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony – Saturday, 6th December from 5-6pm at Ranelagh Triangle.

 

• Terenure Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Sunday, 7th December from 4-5pm at car park in Terenure Village
