Information Evening – Irish Water Sandymount Works

As part of a project to replace and upgrade pipes, Irish Water will be carrying out works in Sandymount over a 12 -14 week period, beginning  in two weeks (approximately 30th October).

A drop-in public information evening will be held next Wednesday, 18th October from 3 – 7pm in the Clanna Gael Fontenoy GAA Club on Sean Moore Road.

Households will be notified two weeks in advance of disruptions to service and works on their road being carried out. A reminder will be sent two days beforehand.

The project will be carried out on a phased bases. The first phase of the project will involve the replacement of ageing water mains and shared backyard service connections along Gilford Drive, Gilford Park, Gilford Road, Gilford Avenue, Lea Road and Lea Crescent, Sandymount Castle Road, Sandymount Castle Drive and Sandymount Castle Park. The second phase of the project will commence in January 2018 and will involve the replacement of water mains and shared backyard services along Sandymount Road, Seafort Avenue and Wilford Park.
