St Andrew’s Resource Centre

Posted November 22nd, 2017

This week St Andrew’s, based on Pearse Street, got a write up in the Irish Times outlining their services and what great supports they offer to the community. There is a fantastic group of over 200 people working there to help locals of all ages to improve their lives.

They offer help with childcare, youth care, re-training & employment services, family supports and welfare advice. They also have a food bank for those in need. Entertainment and interaction is provided for seniors, hobbies like horticulture can be learned. The National Gallery provides art tutors and Trinity students give grinds to secondary school students.

I am very happy to have been able to work with the Centre on many occasions over the last few years and I fully support them in the fine work they do for the area. More people should be aware of the spectacular contribution they make.
