Sandymount Traffic ReviewPosted May 31st, 2018
Local Dublin City Councillors were recently presented with a report detailing a study of the Sandymount Green area with a view to implementing traffic calming measures.
Some of the measure being considered are: controlled pedestrian crossings or zebra crossings, barrier protections, buildouts, alterations to footpaths, in order for pedestrians to enter Sandymount Green Park in a safe manner.
The Area Engineer has requested for a preliminary design to be made by a Traffic Consultant, this is now part of the Works Programme 2018. This will likely be put forward and reviewed in October.
